Today is a very special day for me! It is our second anniversary!
It’s been two years since we said “I do.” I love the picture above because it pretty much sums up our life together: a whole load of fun. We have been together for six years, but married for two. Our love continues to grow daily, and I couldn’t be any happier. “They” say the first two years are the toughest. From learning to live with each other, and adapting to the new life as “one.” I’m glad that we have made it two years, and we couldn’t have done it without God–He is our foundation. I’ve learned so much about my husband in the last two years, and I’m just thankful for this great man whom I call My Superman or M.A.
I was recently asked at an Interview, “What/who motivates you in life?” My answer is and always will be my husband. He is the most ambitious man I know, and he motivates, inspires, and encourages me daily.
We usually go to San Diego around this time of the year, but we couldn’t this year, so we stayed in our own backyard (Valley of the Sun), and had a great time. It’s interesting the things that one could find right at home. Sometimes you don’t even have to look too far. In our case, we went to Old Town Scottsdale/Downtown Scottsdale.
We had lunch at a place called Olive & Ivy, and it was a great experience. Our server named Steve, was beyond pleasant. We told him that we were celebrating out 2nd Anniversary and his response was, “You don’t even look old enough to get married.” haha. I’m guessing he thought we were in our early twenties. Do not be fooled by what you see, my friends. He was nice and surprised us with a dessert on the house.
Then we had the chance to visit the Civic Center Park, and ended our romantic afternoon there.
